BSG Anniversary Calendar Competition

Take part in our 40th anniversary!

We’re excited to create a special calendar to celebrate the Guild’s 40th anniversary and invite you to submit a photograph of your proudest sugarcraft moment from the last 40 years.

Send in a suitable picture of your own sugarcraft creation from anytime over the last 40 years – 1981 through to 2020, featuring any style, and any skills & techniques…

The competition is FREE to enter! Simply email your photo along with your name and BSG member number to: calendar@bsguk.org

Winners will be selected by an expert team of BSG judges. The 12 winning photos will each feature as picture of the month in the BSG’s new 2022 calendar.

Closing date for entries: Friday 16th October 2020

Terms and Conditions

1.   Any 2020/21 member of The British Sugarcraft Guild is eligible to enter the competition.  A current membership number must be submitted, along with the member’s name.

2.   Members may submit ONE suitable high-quality photo into the competition.

3.   The photo should be of the member’s own work from anytime between 1981 and 2020.

4.   Photos must be free of any personal logos or watermarks.

5.   Photos must not contain any images subject to international copyright.

6.   Closing date for entries is 11.59pm on Friday 16th October 2020.

7.   The organisers reserve the right to disqualify any photograph which doesn’t meet the criteria set down in the terms and conditions.

8.   All eligible photos will be judged anonymously by a team of BSG judges.

9.   The judge’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

10. The 12 winning photographs will each feature on a monthly page within the calendar.  The organisers reserve the right to allocate winning photos to specific monthly pages as they see fit.

Helpful tips:

• Send the highest quality resolution image that you can.
• Images that are out of focus or cropped may be not be suitable.
• Please consider the background – a plain background is best.
