~ Cake Makers’ Sugarcraft Insurance Scheme for BSG Members ~
- A benefit of BSG membership is the opportunity to join our special low-cost cake makers’ insurance scheme, offered exclusively to UK resident members.
- You MUST be a BSG member in order to purchase insurance. (You may order both membership and insurance at the same time.)
- The scheme is aimed specifically at hobby cake-makers and people who run a small, part-time, cake business from home, selling their cakes via recommendation, advertising, and at craft and wedding fairs. It is noted that no member will be insured whose annual turnover from sugarcraft activities exceeds £8,500.00.
- Members with current BSG insurance may upgrade to a higher level of cover at any time and only need pay the difference. Simply select your required new level of cover below and write ‘UPGRADE’ in the online ordering message box. Your order will initially show the full cost, however we will discount your original insurance premium when processing.

If you are new to the BSG insurance scheme and need cover to start immediately, you may purchase the current policy – highlighted in yellow – on the understanding that cover will expire on 30th April 2023 and renewal on the new policy will be required thereafter. Sorry! we are not able to offer pro-rated reduction on the expiring policy.
