Spring Skills School 2025

It might be cold outside but we’re looking ahead to Spring and our next Skills School. Our Skills Schools are fantastic opportunties to learn new sugarcraft skills, improve your techniques and meet with like minded sugarcrafters. They are suitable for all skill levels, whether it’s your first of fifth time, you can be sure of a warm welcome.

The Spring 2025 course will be taught over two days – Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th April 2025 – and is led by world renowned author, tutor and flower maestro Alan Dunn. You’ll be learning how to make a stunning spray containing a double and single mock orange, pea flowers and pods.

Bookings opened for BSG Members on 3rd December 2024 at a cost of £190 and for non-members on 2nd January 2025 at a cost of £220.

Places are allocated on first come, first served and are  limited to one ticket per person (no group bookings) – your place is not secured until your 25% non-refundable deposit is paid. An equipment list will be provided once full payment is received.

Taking place at Aldridge Community Centre, Middlemore Lane, Walsall, WS9 8AN, accommodation is not included but there are a range of places locally to suit all budgets – Premier Inn, Travelodge and Fairlawns Hotel & Spa to name a few – check out Booking.com for local availability.

Refreshments will be provided but lunch is not included.
