Useful Information and Documents

The Annual Members’ Meeting (AMM) will take place on Saturday 5th October 2024 commencing at 11am. It will be held at The Barbanell Conference Centre, 64B Co-operative Street, Stafford, ST16 3DA. Any member, Branch or Individual, may attend the meeting in person or online via Zoom.

Motions or proposals for discussion should be submitted to our National Office by 31st August 2024 for inclusion in the AMM Agenda Booklet.

General Agenda

  • Welcome and apologies for absence
  • Minutes of the AMM held on 21st October 2023 followed by any matters arising
  • Any questions arising from the published committee reports
  • Any questions arising from the published report from the National Treasurer
  • Formal approval of the certified accounts for the year ending 31st March 2024
  • Appointment of the certified accountant for the year 2024/25
  • Approval of the subscription rates for the membership year 1st April 2025 to 31st March 2026
  • Appointment of scrutineers for decisions (if required)
  • Election of National Committee member(s) for a two-year period
  • Election of Area Coordinators for a two-year period
  • Considerations of resolutions submitted, any other business and general questions
  • Close of meeting

Do you want to get more involved in the BSG?

We are run by our members, for our members. Your local branch will always be grateful for any support you can give or perhaps you’d like to step up and help on your Area team? At our Annual Members’ Meeting on 5th October 2024 we are looking to appoint five Area Coordinators to serve for a two year period.

We are also looking for two National Committee members to also serve for a two year period.

The closing date for nominations is 31st July 2024. Nomination forms for both Area Coordinators and National Committee members can be obtained by clicking the images below or contacting the National Office nationaloffice@bsguk.org

Sugarcraft News

All members receive our quarterly membership magazine direct to their door. Back copies can be ordered in our store. Our editor Debbie, is always looking for submissions from Individual, Branch or International members, so if you want to see your perfect cake creation in print, drop her an email editor@bsguk.org
